Rules
1. Respect Destiny and stream guests
Direct criticism is acceptable. There is a line between good faith criticism and baseless insults, though. Any accusations of “bad faith” or “lying” are unwelcome unless they are supported by incredibly powerful evidence; if you think either Destiny or some frequent member of the stream is engaged in blatant lies, why even bother participating, unless simply to anti-fan?
2. No doxxing
Posting someone's personally identifiable information (PII) for the purposes of creating harassment or trouble for them is not acceptable. Some things are plainly allowed, such as the state a congressman lives in, and some things are plainly disallowed, such as a streamer's phone number or home address. If you're confused, ask yourself if it's necessary to reveal the PII in order to convey whatever it is you're trying to convey.
3. No threats of violence
Do not make genuine threats of violence, nor encourage other people to commit individual acts of violence or terrorism. Some limited exceptions apply to this, e.g. wishing one side to win a war, but if you play cute with this you will incur swift punishment.
4. No bigotry
Edgy jokes are funny, but not in the presence of genuine bigotry. It's okay to make jokes about every group of person, but if people (or the mods) are getting the impression that you're venturing into genuinely hateful territory, expect to some behavioral correction. Genuinely hateful and racist remarks will be harshly punished.
5. No sexual comments about women
Sexual or appearance-based comments about women are some of the most otherizing remarks that are commonly made in the community. Unless the content is directly inviting these types of comments (e.g. saying a woman looks sexy in a bikini contest), these types of comments should be entirely avoided.
6. Attack arguments, not attributes
Especially when it comes to large political disagreements, the focus should be on criticizing the poor or untrue arguments made by the people we disagree with. Spamming pictures of Trump, accompanied with "fat lol" or "bald lol" is not constructive, leads to a lot of collateral damage, and is overall detrimental to the disposition and perception of the community.
7. No organized harassment or reporting
Calling for other people to engage in hateful or unconstructive behavior against others is prohibited. Calling for people to engage with other groups or content creators in comment sections or other public places generally doesn't rise to the level of harassment, but calling for people to simply demean or attack others, especially individuals, likely would. Mass reporting or emailing campaigns are likewise not permitted, unless directed by or part of some broader campaign greenlit by the moderators or Destiny.
8. No NSFW posting
There are plenty of places on the internet to share and enjoy NSFW images, but there's no reason why it needs to be posted in this community. If people want to make references to NSFW stuff that is news worthy, or NSFW due to it being gory (e.g. about ongoing war or conflict images, or certain memes), that's acceptable, but just linking to pornographic or adult material is not allowed.
9. Do not harass moderators
If you need assistance from a moderator for some particular thing, then request assistance in the ordinary and regular manner. Do not incessantly ping or spam moderators for your personal pet project.
10. No Concern Trolling
Sometimes people make mistakes, sometimes things need to be changed, it is both possible and easy to express these concerns without the doom and gloom people so commonly attach to them. Saying "hey, maybe we should re-examine or change rule x, due to abc reasons" is totally fine, saying "wow, rule x is why no one will ever take us seriously, this is why every person on the internet hates us, this is the end of our community" is difficult to engage with and doesn't foster productive conversation.
